Deck the Café is a Christmas-y night of live music that benefits those in need in our community.

By combining one part live music, one part community and a whole lot of relaxation and conversation, we collectively take a breath and experience the incredible capacity of hope in this jolly season. Using a “donate what you can” model, this night also serves as a way to not just experience hope for ourselves but to share it with those in need throughout Oshawa and the Durham Region by purchasing turkey dinners for The Refuge’s annual Christmas party.

So Why Turkey Dinners?

"Christmas is a time when everyone should feel the love and hope that comes with the season. However, Christmas can be a discouraging time for those who do not have a family. The Refuge provides a light of hope and love through their annual Christmas party where youth receive a complete Turkey Dinner and a gift of a backpack stuffed with needed supplies, blankets, socks, treats and more." For another great year, we raised $500 for The Refuge and had a great time doing it! Many thanks to everyone who came out and all the delightful musicians who rocked out!
